Irán tiene la colección más grande de libros manuscritos del mundo, dice el Director Gral. del Departamento de Manuscritos de la Biblioteca Nacional, Habibollah Azimi.
Azimi dice que hace unos años Turquía era el primer pais del mundo con 300.000 libros manuscritos, seguida de Irán, la India y Paquistán. Actualmente, Irán tiene 400.000 manuscritos en la Bblioteca Nacional de Irán, más un número indeterminado en otras bibliotecas. Después de la inauguración del edificio nuevo, la Biblioteca Nacional compró 700 volúmenes de libros manuscritos de Marzo a Septiembre. (Leer más)
