4. Medios. Los medios tradicionales comprenderán que no basta con estar en la Web y que es necesario participar en la vida de la Red.
5. Movilidad. El punto de acceso a Internet tenderá a concebirse cada vez más como el lugar en el que se encuentra el usuario, y el dispositivo de acceso, además de ordenadores, será cada vez más alguna tecnología móvil, como el teléfono, el PDA, el iPod y la consola.
6. Publicidad. Se incrementará de manera notable la inversión publicitaria en el canal Internet, que beneficiará en particular a los medios con audiencias mejor segmentadas y de alta fidelización, particularmente a los weblogs de nicho.
7. Redes sociales. Continuará el proceso de apropiación de la Red por parte de sus usuarios, organizados en comunidades virtuales...
8. RSS. Seguirá el proceso de expansión del uso de fuentes RSS más allá del ámbito de los weblogs...
9. Web 2.0. La Web será cada vez más «el medio de la gente», y triunfarán aquellas aplicaciones y servicios online que lo comprendan mejor.
10. Weblogs. La blogosfera hispana comenzará a segmentarse temática y geográficamente, se incrementará la importancia de los portales temáticos y agregadores de nicho, así como de los directorios locales de weblogs y el movimiento de blogs de ciudades...
