En esta lista anglosajona, el editor de la revista Book & Magazine Collector, Jonathan Scott, acaba de dar a conocer los libros más caros del mercado, encabezados por el Ulises de Joyce, "por su rareza, encuadernado y fragilidad". La primera edición fue de Shakespeare & Co en Paris (ver este blog), tiene 740 páginas y una tirada de 1.000 ejemplares —sólo las primeras 100 son las más valoradas.
La lista incluye también ejemplares de libros de Conan Doyle, T.S. Lawrence, Ernest Hemingway; W.H.Auden; Graham Greene; Ezra Pound y Virginia Woolf.
La lista de los 5 primeros:
1.- "Ulises" (1922), de James Joyce. 180 mil dólares.
2.- "El sabueso de Baskerville" (1902), de Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. 160 mil dólares.
3.- "Los siete pilares de la sabiduría (1922), de T.S.Lawrence. 120.000 dólares
