Más fondos de la biblioteca Nicolau Primitiu son donados a la Biblioteca Valenciana
La familia Gómez Senent ha donado otra parte de la biblioteca particular de Nicolau Primitiu a la Biblioteca Valenciana. Destaca entre las donaciones realizadas un Manuscrito de Ejecutoria de Hidalguía, iniciada en Granada en septiembre de 1565 y terminada el 26 de agosto de 1626, que posee una encuadernación plateresca renacentista, en piel castaña sobre tablas con hierros dorados.
La Biblioteca Valenciana tiene su origen en la donación de la Biblioteca Nicolau Primitiu en 1979. Nicolau Primitiu Gómez Serrano (1877-1971) reunió a lo largo de su vida una extraordinaria biblioteca en la que hizo realidad el concepto de una biblioteca nacional: obras producidas en Valencia, de autor valenciano o de materia especialmente vinculada a la cultura y la historia valenciana.
